Gasparilla Maritime Museum
On the National Register of Historic Places,
Whidden's Marina houses the Maritime Museum,
where says curator, Barbara Chatham, "We're
trying to preserve the history of the past
and the fisherman and the way of fishing
life, the feel of how it was."

by boat. It offers 12 dock slips for public
use, picnic tables, grills, and a large
picnic shelter and boardwalks to the beach
